Senior Research Thesis Paper

To complete my college degree with Honors distinction, I conducted a research thesis exploring a topic I found both meaningful and timely—ocean plastic waste and its transformation into textiles within the fashion industry. In my paper, 'Trash to Textiles: The Journey of Recycled Plastic in Fashion,' I developed a hypothesis and conducted a case study exploring methods for transforming ocean plastics into economically viable textiles. My research highlighted the challenges of these processes as well as their true environmental impact. I have included my abstract for my final thesis results.
